Thursday, June 19, 2003Oh my.from the Torch: An ad in ESP, a free weekly based out of Greensboro, N.C., has an ad this week for Enzone in Kernersvill which states: "Enzone presents on Friday, June 27 at 8 p.m. the Lords of Fantasy Male Revue and special guest star Buff Bagwell (former WWF wrestler). Ladies, Buff Bagwell will be available for pictures, autographs, and private dances." He also will be refereeing oil wrestling that night. Then two nights later is a "Superstars of Wrestling" event with Bagwell vs. The Barbarian in I Quit match. Jamine St. Clair is also listed for the event. Just goes to show what one bad match plus a raging ego will do to your wrestling career, folks. As for Smackdown, eh. The Angle/Haas match was on fire, but the title match crippled a burgeoning feud, as the six man tag between Mr. Hogan...er, America, Lesnar/Angle and Haas/Benjamin/Show doesn't exactly fill me with excitement. Neither does the FBI v. UT/APA six man as well. And WHAT THE FUCK was up with Bradshaw's hair??? Does this man not have a mirror?? I thought it was Haas running in there for a minute. As for Stephanie's promo, wow. It managed to impress me and scare the shit out of me at the same time, which I didn't think was possible. Sable molesting Zach was total bad porno cheese as I laughed and cried. Can you save us, Ultimo? Can you be our savior?
