I just got back from seeing Kill Bill.

Holy shit.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

From Thurman looking hot as hell to the music to the cinematography to the editing to the anime sequence (JAPANESE VIOLENCE~~~~~~~) to GO GO~~~~ to...fuck, everything else, this movie was worth every dollar and then some.

Even with Tarantino going without much dialogue in this one, it didn't feel like a "spot" movie, i.e. how a smart mark would describe a ECW era Sabu match (spot, rest, spot, rest, spot, rest.) He didn't use the talking scenes as "OK we talk here for a few seconds and now back to an hour of killing!" like most action movies, even good ones. He laid down the story in a way that made you understand without any "But how did this happen?" type comments.

And if you like violence, go see this shit. You will have your mind blown. Honest to God.

I join the chorus of everyone else who has fawned over this movie. Go see it at your earliest convience. Quit your job, break up with your girl, steal a car if you have to JUST GO AND SEE THIS FUCKING MOVIE.

Wow. This is just how I felt after I saw Pulp Fiction in the theater back in '94.

Wow man.

Wow.

My friend Keith was blown away as well. "This was a transcendent experience," he said.

Wow.

Vol. 2.

Feb. 20.

Get ready.

Stay healthy.
