Like, an update or something.

So here I am. Ready to rock you like a hurricane. Or not.

God, these truth commercials are retarded. And who the hell blades from a shot into the ring post? Randy Orton, that's who!

Hey sports fans, HOW BOUT THEM PLAYOFFS. If you haven't read Spaulding's kick-ass analysis (brought to you BAH: Wu-Tang Financial) do so now. All I have to say is Mike Martz and Mike Sherman basically pulled a Grady Little. That's it. There's no excuse. None.

As for work, I got a little beef with a bitch-ass security guard. Basically, when I tried to tell some of the outside guards about open containers in one of the cars we parked, he bitched at me. I kept my cool and let them know, but oh man. If I ever wanted to whip the shit out of someone, that would have been the time.

But I didn't do anything about it, 'cause the other guards told me to cool out. So the next day, I get to work and he's there. After a few minutes of being there, I catch him at the front.

"So, what do I care about what you guys are talking about?" I said.

"What?" he said with a half smile.

"Yesterday. I was trying to let you guys know about a potential problem. I don't give a fuck what y'all talking about. It's none of my business." (they were having a impromptu meeting at the time.)

"Well, when I get chewed out, I do care." he said, turning serious.

"Well I don't. So fuck you," I said and walked off.

Nice, eh? The outside supervisor came out a few minutes later and told me I was causing problems, but I told him I said my piece, I'm done. He accepted it and that's that. I guess it helps that no one else likes him since he bitches so much. They want to fire him, but he's been sick so much from an allergic reaction to aspirin. Apparently his doctor put him on Benadryl, but that's not helping, 'cause he looks like crap.

So I sort of fulfilled my ambition to put my foot in someone's ass this year. Now let's see if I can make something happen.

You know, that FeFe Dobson is pretty good live.

I'll try to post more, but NCAA 2004 is soooooooooooo addictive right now. When I get my new Madden disc so it can import the recruiting class, goodbye free time!

So, enjoy these rumors now and whenever I get up Kiper's updated draft board. Jan. 15th is the last day for underclassmen to declare for the draft, so between now and then we should get some big names up on the board. Plus, the casino Christmas party~~~~~~ is Thursday, so I will go and hopefully get some fun stories to tell. Britt tells me it's wild, so there you go. I don't know if it'll top the first Christmas work party I went to, but this is Real Life: Anything Can (And Will) Happen.

Remember, don't test my gangsta. Peace. :)

-Lions team president and CEO Matt Millen said aspects of potential free-agent WR Keyshawn Johnson’s game interest the team. The Lions have made a possession wide receiver a priority since drafting Charles Rogers.

-A source close to the Browns says players have been grumbling about some of head coach Butch Davis’ methods for some time now. The length of practices, as well as Davis’ policy of not allowing players to the leave the team hotel the night before games, are two issues that particularly irk some Browns, according to the source.

-Bucs observers are calling it premature to say that LB Derrick Brooks could be entering the downside of his career, but they say that the team needs to at least start thinking about a plan for a few years down the road.

-Colts officials feel that RB Edgerrin James is finally playing close to the level he achieved during the 1999 and 2000 seasons, when he won back-to-back rushing titles.

-Most Patriots observers are of the belief that free-agent-to-be Damien Woody is as good as gone. The center-guard probably will cost the team far too much to re-sign, even if it franchised him and signed him to a one-year deal under those terms. That puts the team in a bind in the middle, where Mike Compton also is a free agent and Joe Andruzzi (though he stayed healthy this season) is injury prone.

-Eagles senior assistant Marty Mornhinweg told PFW that the offensive coaching staff never even considered replacing QB Donovan McNabb during his early-season slump, and they knew that the entire offense was to blame for the slow start.

-A source close to former Giants coach Jim Fassel said the coach was left worn down following a week’s worth of interviews with the Redskins, Cardinals and Bills and that a bad cold might have played a part in Fassel’s reportedly poor interview in Buffalo.

-One Giant who can’t be happy about Tom Coughlin’s hiring is PK Mike Hollis, who had his share of disagreements with his former coach down in Jacksonville. Another former Jaguar who played for Coughlin, CB Ike Charlton, whom the team signed at the end of the season, said he warned Giants players about Coughlin’s demanding style, saying it was in stark contrast to that of Jim Fassel.

-Giants general manager Ernie Accorsi told PFW that Nick Saban was in the team’s coaching mix, but that Accorsi was not about to get in Saban’s way of trying to win a national title at LSU. Accorsi added that Tom Coughlin remained the team’s first target through the process. Accorsi also said he doesn’t think that he and Coughlin will have difficulty handling personnel matters, something that the two sides addressed right away in Coughlin’s first interview.

-Cowboys QB Chad Hutchinson is bound for NFL Europe, where the team hopes he can get some reps and have enough tape on him to further evaluate what kind of player they have.

-Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells said he wants to keep KR Michael Bates, whom the team signed at the end of the season.

-Eagles OLB Carlos Emmons said he has yet to hear back from the Eagles regarding a new contract. There was some communication between the two sides before the season, but nothing since Emmons was hurt in Week 17.

-Cowboys C Matt Lehr might be the odd man out next season as the team likes what veteran Gennaro DiNapoli did and wants to see what Al Johnson, a 2003 second-rounder who missed the season with injury, can do.

-Among the positions that could see upgrades or major changes in Washington include running back and tight end, where Joe Gibbs always has favored having a strong blocker.

-One of the hallmarks of Gregg Williams’ past defenses has been using a lot of man coverage, and sources close to the Redskins say that the new defensive coordinator might push for owner Dan Snyder to re-sign CB Champ Bailey, who can handle that duty as well as or better than anyone the team could find in the draft or through free agency.

-The Dolphins are likely to talk to OGs Chris Villarrial of the Bears and the Lions’ Eric Beverly. Miami extended Beverly a three-year, $3.6 million offer sheet in 2001, but the Lions were quick to match. Because the Dolphins have plans to reshape their offensive line, it is an early priority in free agency. The Lions would like Beverly back, but probably in a reserve role.

-The Packers are still considering whether power DE Joe Johnson should be brought back in 2004. Johnson is due more than $6 million in base salary, but Green Bay has been pleased with the performance of Aaron Kampman and Chukie Nwokorie since Johnson went on the injured list.

-The Bears are keeping a close eye on the finger injury to rookie QB Rex Grossman, who was 2-0 as a starter before being injured in the regular-season finale at Kansas City in Week 17. Grossman is expected to heal completely in time, but if tests reveal a delay in that process, Grossman may have to consider surgery.

-We’re told the Panthers were pretty loose heading into their matchup with the Rams because head coach John Fox made sure everyone approached the game with the same attitude as they would any other week.

-Sources say Saints head coach Jim Haslett is interested in adding Raiders CB Charles Woodson to his lineup because he likes the edge Woodson brings to a defense.

-We’re told the only way Saints CB Dale Carter returns to New Orleans next season is if he is willing to play for the league minimum.

-We hear that one of the knocks on LSU head coach Nick Saban in Falcons camp was the rumor that he isn’t a team player and likely would demand too much power if he was hired in Atlanta.

-Look for more than a few surprise getting-to-know-you visits on the streets of Phoenix by new Cardinals head coach Dennis Green — like the one he made after his first press conference with the local media last Friday — in an effort to generate more fan support. Also look for the energetic Green to do a fair amount of public speaking before local civic groups on the team’s behalf.

-Word is former Cardinals offensive coordinator Jerry Sullivan is expected to talk with New Orleans, Miami and Baltimore about being a WR coach.

-Among the anticipated changes in the Niners’ offensive philosophy next season, look for more short passes and one-back sets. One thing that isn’t expected to change is a steady dose of FB Fred Beasley in the “I” formation, which occurred quite a bit this season.

-We hear Niners head coach Dennis Erickson won’t put up much resistance if DL coach Dan Quinn and secondary coach Brett Maxie — the two remaining position coaches from former 49ers head coach Steve Mariucci’s staff — are sought after by former 49ers defensive coordinator Jim Mora in Atlanta.

-With former 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Knapp becoming the new Falcons’ offensive coordinator, the rumor that free agent WR Terrell Owens will also end up in Atlanta has picked up instant steam.

-Our sources in Seattle say the violation of a team rule that resulted in rookie FS Ken Hamlin not starting in the Seahawks’ playoff game in Green Bay is more than just a little concern, considering the off-the-field problems Hamlin experienced in the college ranks at Arkansas.

-Attesting to the Rams’ genuine family-type relationship among players and coaches, the team’s offensive linemen have chipped in to purchase a vacation trip for retiring OL coach Jim Hanifan to Ireland, Hanifan’s ancestral homeland.

-A larger concern than possibly the head-coaching vacancy in Oakland is how the Raiders are going to replace senior assistant Bruce Allen, who departed to take the GM position in Tampa Bay. It’s well known that owner Al Davis basically serves as the Raiders’ general manager, but it was Allen who masterfully manipulated the team’s salary cap to keep an aging and expensive roster in contention. He also served as the primary contract negotiator and typically juggled several other important tasks that went underappreciated until now. In Allen’s nearly 10 years with the Silver & Black, he has been the only one to work directly with the salary cap.

-The fate of most of the Raiders’ assistant coaches depends on who is hired for the top spot, but two who don’t have to worry about their futures are WR coach Fred Biletnikoff and director of squad development Willie Brown, both of whom played for the Raiders and together have 62 years of experience with the organization.

-At presstime, there were some worries in San Diego that the Chargers might lose out to the Vikings for Ted Cottrell’s services. Cottrell was scheduled to interview with San Diego for the team’s vacant defensive coordinator job but is said to view Minnesota as the better environment in terms of being closer to success. Other names that have been mentioned in line with the Chargers are that of Dick Jauron and Dave McGinnis.

-The Broncos’ decision to reward journeyman S Nick Ferguson with a new four-year deal that included a $500,000 signing bonus last week was made some time ago, as Ferguson earned a starting role and rave reviews for his play in Denver’s secondary.

-Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan has no plans of letting the disappointing Deltha O’Neal go with one year remaining on his current deal and also has no interest in moving him back to cornerback. Shanahan said he believes O’Neal has potential at wide receiver, but if that’s not what he wants, he would be willing to explore a trade.

-While Ravens offensive coordinator Matt Cavanaugh gets the lion’s share of the blame for the struggles of the Baltimore offense, a source close to the team says head coach Brian Billick also is closely involved in the game planning from week to week.

-The usually candid Tony Dungy closed the Colts’ practice sessions before their playoff game vs. the Broncos because he did not want anyone to know his plan to switch C Jeff Saturday to right guard and OG Tupe Peko to center. We hear the position switch was designed to stop Broncos DT Trevor Pryce, who constantly pressured QB Peyton Manning in their previous matchup, a 31-17 Denver win in Week 16. The Colts have remained coy, but our sources have informed us that despite its effectiveness, it will remain a one-game experiment. The position change is a testament to the skill of Saturday, who suggested the move despite having never played guard in the NFL.

-The attention given to Patriots defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel has brought some attention to up-and-coming assistant Eric Mangini, who works closely with Crennel on the team’s game plans and would be the frontrunner to be the Patriots’ defensive coordinator should Crennel leave for another job.
