Kevin Nash was stabbed while shooting his role for The Punisher. The injury occured during a fight scene between Nash and star Thomas Jane. Jane accidently stabbed Nash during the filming, but Nash was not even aware of being stabbed until later due to the intensity of the scene.

Maybe now he'll learn how to sell. *OMG CHEAP SMARK JOKE*

In other news, hi, hello, how are you? I am good. Unfortunately, I have to work on Super Bowl Sunday, so I would like to send a big FUCK YOU and a Stunner to my boss. DTA OH HELL YEAH YOU SUMBITCH.

I am in the process of e-mailing resumes and cover letters to various newspapers, though. Plus I have a couple of friends who work for a local weekly, and one of them said they would be willing to give me articles to do. He also notified me of a sports assistant job over at the Tacoma News Tribune which would be cool.

For me this is a great start. I don't expect to get a job right away, but if I keep this up, something will come my way. Just gotta stay positive, yo.

OK, enough with the cheezy "If you and I can change, everybody can change!" stuff. Onto linkz and random thoughts.

-If you haven't checked out Trish's BOTY site, I highly recommed you do so. Hot shit.

-EDDY~~~~ wins the mini-Rumble and I am happy. The last 10 minutes or so with Angle was crazy hot and I hope it leads to a WWE Title match at WM 20 IF he goes over Lesnar at No Way Out. Benoit getting a shot at HHH will rule as well IF he goes over. If he does, and you listen closely, and the wind is blowing right, you could hear a smark type "BENOIT R00LZ~!~!~!~!"

In other wrestling rumors, there is still no movement on Goldberg and whether he'll be with the company after WM 20. From what I read, there's no chance he'll hang out and wrestle Mark Henry 20 more times on Raw for the next year or so, but who knows. This is the WWE: Anything Can Happen.

I'll have to watch Afterburn (or The Bottom Line; I can't remember who does what) for that Foley promo everyone is raving about. Damn my tape for running out. :(

Also for those interested, this week's edition of Heat is supposed to be mad hot, so tune in.

-In baseball news, Kaz Sasaki negated his contract and went back to Japan. I'm not too sad about this since we resigned Shiggy and signed up Guardado, he was bound to be put on the back burner. I would like to see us get Carlos Beltran, but who knows. If you've read the U.S.S. Mariner, you would think the Mariners would be better off giving the money away, or lighting it on fire.

I really can't be positive here. Most of 'em are kinda eh with the attempt to sign Vizquel (which is the WTF moment of the offseason) just being flat-out dumb. I thought we would have a shot at Rodriguez, but he's gonna sign with the Tigers for 4 yrs/$40M. The dumbass.

So, maybe we'll get Beltran in a trade, or sit on the money and when the trading deadline comes, try to swing a good power hitter our way.

Almost forgot. Apparently we're on our way to signing Ron Villone. Why, I don't know. He sucked the first time he was here. Will a second tour of duty be any better? Probably not.

-For anyone who's interested : a blog here and a blog there. You can figure out who they belong to when you click on them. :)

-Bill Simmons has a blog which is very funny. His post on him having a near nervous breakdown at the NFL Gameday party is priceless, especially if you play Madden a lot. And I mean A LOT.

Troy wins the coin toss, takes the ball and drives down the field in six plays, pretty much using the same play every time -- a quick run up the middle from Antowain Smith. 7-0, Patriots. This is good. That led to this exchange:

Me: If I were playing, I would move up my strong safety and use one of those 4-3 defenses that stacks the line.

Cute lady behind me: (Dead silence, semi-horrified)

Smith gets the ball to start the second half, as the pilot has officially turned off the "You shouldn't chew your nails at a promotional party for a video game" sign. I'm chomping away. Doesn't matter that I'm standing in the second balcony of the swankest hotel lounge in Houston, surrounded by Fembot cocktail waitresses and PR people. There isn't a bigger dork in Texas.

Classic. Here's the link.

-Translation of a classic.

And finally, some pics of a very hot Playmate, Miss Carmella DeCesare.

Enjoy the links and I'll holla at y'all next time. Unless I die from a falling branch due to this nasty windstorm.
