BOOYAH GRANDMA

So don't feel empathetic for anyone when, y'know, they get hit by lightning.

Hey, how the hell are you? I got back from Pullman yesterday. It was a good trip. Nice to get out of the house for awhile and get some perspective.

I got some of my old clips and got a chance to talk to some of the people I worked with who were freshmen when I was there. It was nice to hear that some people were struggling like I was, especially one guy who was an excellent writer.

My broadcast professor wasn't there as he was out of town on business, so that sucked. But the new addition looks nice. I was hoping for a tour of the new all-digital studios, but no dice.

The craziest part was seeing how much they've added in the time I've been gone. A new movie theater, a new JITB, a brand new Safeway building, and a really nice WSU Foundation building where the previous building burned down. I think they should add more and make it a REAL college town instead of having a farming community, but I think the rest of Pullman is wary of the university (riots, assaults and the general drunken debauchery that goes along with college i.e. Senior Golf) to make any real change.

Unfortunately, I have no crazy stories of being out with people 'cause I arrived in the middle of the week and everyone had class and work and papers to write, but that was fine. I did have a few beers and watch Chappelle's Show and Vertigo with some friends from the paper.

So we shall see what happens. I like my chances, but no internship = not a bite from any papers. Maybe that will change. Maybe someone will get desperate. :)

Smackdown!: Eddy v. Chavo for the WWE Championship. Read that sentence again and try not to black out.

Anyone know where I can get a good external DVD burner for my hp?

My friend Eva is into this activity. You can see her in action here.

I'll be back with more later. Maybe some draft stuff since I saw USC WR Mike Williams might come out early.

Peace.
