JOHNNY'S JOB SEARCH

Well, half of the papers I've called and sent e-mails/clips/resumes/cover letters to said they got my shit and they'll give me a call. The other half I left messages for, so I hope all goes well.

What really hurts is the fact that I've been out of the newspaper game since 2002, and a big gap like that would sound alarms & raise red flags to anyone reading my shit. I may have to get something local so I can improve my standing, but it's no better around here. I have a couple of friends at a weekly, but they don't have anything open.

So it might take a couple of months to get someone to give me a chance. Maybe longer. Matt, can you put in a good word for me? I'm housebroken. :)

I plan on going to Pullman next week, so I hope something comes out of that. Plus it'll be good to get out of the house for a few days.

Smackdown: Not bad. I kinda wished I had went, but I need that money for travel & loans. EDDY~! cuts another awesome promo, Cena rocks the MUTHAFUCKIN' STEVE LARGENT~~~~~~~~ throwback jersey, and Nidia shreds the mink coat. Awesome. Next week: Benoit v. HBK. w00t.
