Is this thing still on?

Since Rob threatened me to update, I decided now would be a good time. Hey, he worked at Jack for five years. You think I'm going against him?

In the job front, I interviewed with Money Tree, since they're hiring for tellers. It's a nice place and it seems like a good job: 8.50/hr to start, I get a raise and medical/dental/vision after three months. That means I get put on the company's insurance without paying a dime. If hired I get to go to Burien for two weeks of training and I get put up in a hotel which they pay for as well.

Pretty pimptastic, eh? I'll know by Friday whether they want me to interview with the district manager or not. I hope so, 'cause I got denied for unemployment. I kinda knew I wasn't gonna get any, but it still sucks.

My brother is on the same boat as he finally got fired from his job at IHOP. Apparently he failed a secret shopper and since they got new management, they cut him out. But here's the funny thing: There were 4 girls, and one of the things he has to do is to acknowledge the kids if any.

Well, one of them had a baby, and she promptly whipped out her titty and breast fed her kid right as my brother was taking their order. So he looks up at the celing and not get his ass kicked (or sued) in the process. And he failed it.

Seven years he's been there and put up with all sorts of shit from employees who steal to ones who don't show up to shitty managers and he gets canned. Wild.

But he's got some jobs lined up in LA, and he'll be heading down there in the next month or so. I hope that works out for him.
