FOR GATES

Here's a cool blog.

The concert went OK. They had a local DJ spinnin' first (oh, and if you think about it, get that new Mobb Deep single. It samples a very well known '80s one hit wonder. You'll know when you hear it.) The only fight during this? Between three chicks. Hair pulling and everything. Really funny.

Dilated came on and tore it up. They really do a good job of keeping the crowd hype and not letting things lag too much in between songs. Oh, and they have a new album coming out. Uh...forgot the date...think it's April...6...or something. Yeah.

In between sets, one of the guys from the Roc/Def Jam street team brought up Jin (the first Asian cat to sign with Ruff Ryders.) He didn't want to perform, but came to see Kanye. Why he came all the way out here, I have no idea.

Finally Kanye came out and everyone goes crazy. It was a good performace, but since he's a producer first, he doesn't have that stage presence all MCs need to have to move the crowd. He did get us with an April Fool's prank.

So the DJ plays "Stand Up" and Kanye starts rhyming. "Hold on, hold on. Man, I need to do this right. I need to get Ludacris out here!"

We go nuts. And wait.

"April Fools!" he yells.

AWWWWWWWWWWW

He dropped the remix for "The New Workout Plan" done by Mr. YEAH HWHAT OKAY himself, so be on the lookout for that. Another funny moment was during "Jesus Walks" when he saw some people fighting in the front.

"Where's my security at? What, I ain't got no security? Man stop the music!" He waited until the guys worked it out, strangely enough. "Man, I can't believe that happened during that song," he said, getting a laugh from everyone.

It wasn't the greatest, but it's understandable since it's his first time out there by himself. Too bad I forgot my earplugs (my ears are killing me) and I left my lights on in the lot, so I had to call my mom to come give me a jump.

Went to lunch with a friend of mine today. He let me know on the DL that the paper in Port Orchard would be hiring soon, so I'll be dropping off my clips there. Hopefully I can get in there, 'cause the funds are really running low.

That new rule banning end-zone celebrations is lame beyond belief.

God must really love these kids.

The semi-naked chick is here.

I'm out this bitch.
