Tuesday, May 04, 2004RANTS WHILE WAITING FOR THE BATTERS TO PULL THE BULLPEN'S ASSES OUT OF THE FIRE ONCE MORE:NOTE: You can scroll down if you're not interested in reading about me bitching about baseball. Thanks. Right now, it's 3-3 and the M's are forced to come back yet again. Thanks to Guardado this time (but really, who hasn't blown a save this year) the M's could be in such better shape if they had a decent bullpen. But no, Shiggy has to pull a Brady Anderson, Soriano had to get hurt and Jarvis had to enter our lives (good riddance to that bastard.) What pisses me off is when the bullpen blows it after our starters throw a great game i.e. Moyer tonight. If it isn't our vastly underwhelming bullpen, it's our defense that's struggling. I like Spezieo and Aurillia, but they don't have the range of Guillen and Cirillo. Yeah, he sucked at the plate, but his fielding was fine. Winn and Ibanez aren't the answer (and I'm thinking of starting a drinking game every time I watch a game when Winn can't get to a baseball and say "Cameron would have caught that.") I'm glad the Seahawks are taking steps to improve on their playoff apperance from last year, 'cause I highly doubt the M's will. They're still thinking 2001 will happen again. WOW! Ibanez just made a great throw! Well, shut my mouth. OK, enough bitching. Let's move on to: RAW~~~: Hot damn this was great. That shot of Eugene with the Triple H water bottle was priceless, and the opening six man along with Michaels/Benoit was superb. I can't wait for next week.
