¡CES MI ANIVERSARIO DE UN AÑO!

I can't believe it's been a year since I started on this arduous journey we call blog. Last year I was working a super shitty job for miniumum wage and questioning where I was going in life. Now, I can say that I have some sense of where I wanna go.

Seriously... it's time for the 4th already? Holy shit, it just feels like three months have passed. Next thing I know, I'll be 27 and then it'll be Christmas. Gah.

IT'S PSA TIME

Last Friday somebody thought it was cute to use my PayPayl account to buy $900 worth of calling cards. I reported it to PayPal and I thought that was it. Oh no.

Tuesday morning, as I'm checking my account online at work, I notice that the purchase went through anyway.

FUCK.

I immediately call PayPal again and my bank and let them know what's up. The bank tells me it usually takes 3-5 business days to reverse transactions, or it could take as long as 10 business days to overturn it.

DOUBLE FUCK.

Thankfully, it was overturned the next day and I was able to have my debit card purchases go through without them bouncing. But I still don't have my new card (and I should probably get a new account since this one is in the hands of how many folks now) so I have to depend on checks, which sucks since everyone is so picky about it nowadays due to people abusing them to the point of extinction. (I would also like to mention the Big Brother-like push to using plastic and how actual money will be phased out in the next 20 years or so, but that's another paranoid rant for another drunken time.)

Word of warning to all: KEEP UP ON YO SHIT. I was pretty careful, but somewhere I fucked up and now I have to go through all this shit to make sure someone doesn't rob me blind. I should go here and see how my rating is. It's probably not that great, but I need to keep up on that (and you should too.)

OK, enough bitching. Off to quick hitz:

-The Week In Wrestling: 1 2 3 PEDIGREE! Great promo by HHH. I wish I could have that main event on tape, but it ran out. :(

I also liked the promo by JBL, but it's too late for him. He'll be main eventing Velocity by September, guaranteed.

No Impact, as it was preempted by baseball.

-Mariners! Four in a row! Nine of their last thirteen! They're on fire!

"Yeah, but isn't that against really shitty teams--"

DON'T YOU RUIN THIS FOR ME!!! THIS IS ALL I HAVE!!! IT'S ALL I FUCKING HAVE (until football season!)

-Speaking of which, NCAA 2005 is shaping up to be the sweetest sports game I will ever play in my life. Between this, Halo 2 and Madden 2005 I will never have to leave the house EVER AGAIN! AAAAAHAHAHAAAA!

-*ahem*

-If you haven't checked out this blog, do so. Hopefully he'll check out football season as well. Also, TV Shows On DVD is the spot for all your fave TV shows on DVD (and go cop Reno 911 and Sledgehammer, will ya?)

-I saw that Kevin Smith is rereleasing Clerks as a 3-disc special super mega limited edition package. I saw the listing, and it will be one to cop, but yo, can we get some more Clerks cartoons? That shit was the mad notes!

-What kind of post would this be without some hot-ass chicks?

-Can someone please let Bush know that innocent Americans in the Middle East are sitting ducks just waiting to be picked off by terrorists? Goddamn it, I'm tired of hearing about someone else getting killed because he won't back down and tell non-essential personnel to GET THE FUCK OUTTA DODGE. How long is it gonna be before this HA WE'LL SHOW 'EM attitude turns into OH SHIT DEM AL-QAIEDA BOYS AIN'T PLAYING DICK WHAT WE GONNA DO. Man I hope Farenheit 9/11 tears his campaign down for good.
