LORD HAVE MERCY/JESUS CHRIST/SHE'S JUST NICE

Best. Outfit. Ever.

Holy Mother Of God, that was the best wedding ever. Creepy midgets. Kane in white. Lita in black. EVIL ORGAN MUSIC~! "She's having my baby/what a wonderful way to say I love you..." Trish in THAT OUTFIT~~~~~~~. "I can wear white... unlike YOU." Matt Hardy DIES. And the end shot...

Gold. I cannot possibly love this angle anymore. Yes, it's retarded beyond anything we've seen before, but now it rules in that "this is so lame that somehow it comes full circle and now totally rules" way of thinking. If there was anything missing, it's that James Mitchell and Mikey Whipwreck weren't part of the service.

In other news:

- I haven't found a new job yet, but I've been in contact with some of the local weekly papers about some freelance work, so we'll see how that goes.

- If I didn't like the war before, I just found out a friend of mine has been in Iraq with the Army Reserves for the past eight months. We had a party for him Saturday (highlighted by my brother getting totally wasted and throwing up in my friend's sink) but he's leaving on the 26th to go back for nine more months. Here's hoping he comes back in one piece.

-Mariners. ICHIRO~! has been the sole bright spot in a dreadful season. He probably won't factor into the MVP race (stupid lineup sucking and all) but it'll be a blast if he can break Sisler's record.

-Football~~~: The pro and college season is almost upon us (thank you God and other holy deities) but losing Chad Brown and Will Derting for their respective teams will make for a tough season. I figured WSU wasn't going to do much since there's a lot of turnover from last season, but he was on such a roll last year.

The loss of Brown hurts. Our linebacker corps don't have the experience, and he's still trying to recover from that LisFrans injury. When you add in his age (35!) it's not going to be easy to come back from a broken leg.

At least I have fantasy football. I went first in the aPa XFL league. Here's the rundown:

1: Priest Holmes, RB - Chiefs

Matty S.: "One wonders how many leagues Priest WASN'T taken first in. Probably only San Diego-based ones."

Or leagues that don't factor in RB whatsoever or that have all doctors and they can't see themselves drafting someone who's a year removed from hip surgery.

Obvious number 1, but I hope he doesn't jinx himself by saying he'll run for 2300 yards. I know he's trying to keep himself motivated since he was thinking about retirement and his dad over in Iraq, but you know how these predictions can bite someone in the butt.

Instant karma's/gonna get you...

2: Matt Hasselbeck, QB - Seahawks

HOMER PICK```. Seriously, I think he'll have a great year. If our wideouts can hang on to the damn ball, it's all good.

3: Steve Smith, WR - Panthers

Definetly a great WR, bookended with

4: Jerry Porter, WR - Raiders

Yes sir. If Gannon can return to form and Porter comes back from hernia surgery, he'll have a big year.

5: Steve McNair, QB - Titans

Injuries may start to catch up to him, but he'll still gut it out. He's like the Black Knight of the NFL. :)

6: Lee Suggs, RB - Browns

If he doesn't beat out Green, I'll be shocked. He's due to breakout this year.

7: Dallas - DEF

This is about right. I expect they'll be on the field a fair amount of the time since the offense won't be. C'mon, Testaverde? As your starting QB? Jesus, is Parcells losing it in his old age?

8: Steven Jackson, RB - Rams

He'll see some time this year. I don't think Faulk's knee is 100 percent, but who knows what Martz will do with him?

9: Jason Elam, K - Broncos

Very consistent kicker. I dig it.

10: Pittsburgh - DEF

Not much to go on about here. They'll probably be on the field for most of the game since Maddox's mojo has been stolen.

11: Erron Kinney, TE - Titans

I don't know much about him, but he seems like a decent pick for the TE slot.

12: Morten Anderson, K - Chiefs

"Wasn't he Bronko Nagurski's kicker?"

I thought I'd be OK with taking him, but I read he's fighting for his job against some 26 year old from the CFL so he may have to go soon.

13: Itula Mili, TE - Seahawks

Stevens has actually behaved so far (and playing well in camp) but until he gets the start, I'll take the Samoan.

14: Ike Hilliard, WR - Giants

Now that he'll have a real QB throwing to him, this may be the steal of the draft.

15: Anthony Thomas, RB - Bears

Crap pick. I didn't know he lost the job to Jones, so unless he gets his starting job back, I'll have to keep an eye on the wires to pick up someone else. Lord knows I won't take Troy Hambrick or any of the other winners out there.

Overall: I think I had a good draft. I just missed the playoffs last year, so who knows? Either everyone performs to the best of their ability and I can sneak in this time or everyone gets hurt and I sit at the bottom of the league. One thing's for sure: It'll be an interesting year.

Now, links:

- "If you can afford having the meal, you can afford the tip. That's a universal truth." (I linked this because this was my first job waaaaaaay back in high school and most of community college, plus some people still don't know the drill.)

- Oh Britney!

- If you're thinking, "She's kinda hot..." then this site may help.

- Obligatory Lindsay Lohan link.

- Oh, the shame of it all.

- For those who are totally desperate.

Enjoy the links and I'll holla.
