HAIL HAIL ROCK 'N ROLL



I need to get some Chuck Berry CD's. I always liked that guy.

So what's the deal, folks? It's been a couple of weeks, but that's what happens when work is all of your life (even if it is "part-time").

There are some rumors down at the local paper that someone may leave, which would be sweet. I would miss the office and the kids, but not the editor or the pay or the drive that sucks $30 out of my wallet a week for gas.

8) people who can't distinguish homonyms.... and all of you dumb fucks who don't know what a homonym is.... we're talking about YOU. To eliminate future ignorance and us punching you in the face, we provide a quick lesson. Chapter 1: "They're" means 'they are,' "their" is possessive, and "there" is a noun. Chapter 2: "You're" means 'you are,' "your" is possessive. We don't even care if you don't use the apostrophe, type ONE more fucking letter and make sense. Chapter 3: "Two" is a number, "to" is a preposition (introduces a noun/infinitive for those who slept though the third grade), and "too" means additionally or also. So type correctly, or we will make you swallow a sweaty tube sock!

Thank God for football, man. If there was ever a diversion man made to distract you from the all the crap that goes on in the world and in my head, football is it.

And we need a win today. Bad.

DUMB.

I also greatly enjoyed yesterday. Some great college football games on, including Michigan State/Notre Dame, Oklahoma/UCLA, Syracuse/Virginia, Fresno State/Oregon and Miami/Clemson (which I didn't see but from the highlights it looked like a phenominal game.)

Hopefully next weekend will be just as good.
